Our studio curates Courtney Reyes is an artist based in the Denton area of North Texas. Her work is rooted in drawing, painting, and mixed media art. Her path as an artist is predominantly self-taught, and her life experiences have given her a deeper perspective and a stronger understanding of what she wants to communicate through her work. It took her a long time to call herself an artist, but somehow she learned that “Fear has no place in art”. Courtney had a late start in her artistic career

Courtney creates art as a way of exploring subjects that inspire a sense of wonder. She is interested in how familiar objects, figures, and experiences can take on greater significance when translated through an artist’s perspective. Through drawing and painting, she studies form, color, and composition, texture, and light while also considering the emotional or symbolic meaning behind her subject matter. For her, the process of creating is both technical andrefined collections and bespoke commissions that elevate residential, corporate, and public environments through considered artistic expression.

Grounded in academic research and decades of exhibition experience, the team facilitates every phase of the artistic process, from concept development and artist selection to installation oversight and long-term collection care.
